New here ... I'd appreciate any insight/advice ...

Hello!
I guess a little background on me is where I need to begin ...
First off, I'm 21 - and married.
I know I seem fairly young to be contemplating having a little one of my own, that is no huge secret to me.
However, when I was 18 I was diagnosed with endometriosis, and discovered a rather large cyst forming in my abdomen. I went in to have the cyst removed, it had become entangled in my fallopian tube. I lost my fallopian tube, and went on birth control to control my moder/severe endo problems. Fast forward to my being 20, and for whatever reason I am just incredibly terrified I will never be a mother, I have read tons of information on my conditions, and my fiance and I have opted to go off birth control (nuvaring) prior to the wedding to begin trying to start a family.
We have ambition, and not much money.
That was ten months ago, two months ago I was experiencing too much abdominal pain to even be intimate with my now husband, and that was no way to start a family. It was actually a surefire way *not* to.
I finally found a doctor who believed I was in pain, they discovered I had another cyst and presumably the endo had returned full force.
I scheduled surgery, they lasered off the endometrial lesions, removed the cyst. My one good ovary was swollen and enlarged, but my Fallopian tube was clean and clear, I looked "okay" - but the doctor feels like I should see a fertility specialist.
Financially, a fertility speciaist is not something we can do right now, but we want to move forward with trying to start a family.

I don't really know what I need to know, or where to get that information - but, here I am!

Hi Hun,
I feel your pain, even though I have never been through what you have with Endometriosis. I just wanted to say start trying naturally as your tubes are clear. Give it the best you can, maybe try SMEP and see how you go from there. I am sure you'll soon get your BFP, but if all fails then start looking into the possibility of a Fertility Specialist and you then have time to save up for an appointment.
Like I said, I'm not the best person to advise post-Endometriosis, but I wanted to send tonnes of good vibes your way and wish you all the best in the world. Happy BD'ing :)
We've given SMEP a good shot this cycle, after 6 months of trying and hoping to see those 2 pink lines in around 8 days time :) xx
