ENDometriosis... and all the rest of it! #BrokenBody

Hey guys.

So I'm just really here to vent and chat with people going through the same sort of things. Yes I've already conceived and have a beautiful 9 year old to show for it, but my partner (39) has never had a child and we have been trying desperately for two years.

Basically, we got pregnant a couple of years ago and when I went in to confirm the pregnancy, found out I was a T1 diabetic, VERY different to T2 diabetes which you all hear about in the media.

I lost the pregnancy as a result and haven't been able to get pregnant again. At the beginning of last year I started experiencing extremely heavy periods, twice as long as normal.

I have so far been diagnosed with a polyp, cervical erosion and the latest specialist I have seen believes I have endometriosis! Might need to start trading in some body parts and become bionicwoman ha!

Anyway just in a frustrating position of waiting for our insurance to come through (they're trying to say it was a preexisting condition and don't want to pay despite having no symptoms prior to getting insurance) or waiting for the public system (probably a year long wait for laparoscopy, cautery of erosion and polyp removal), or whichever comes first.

So frustrating.... we keep trying every month regardless but seriously starting to lose hope :(

Would love to hear from anyone who has experienced any of this CRAZINESS!! Whether they wan to chat or vent...

Hey Melinda, I read your post just now. How are you doing? Still going through stuff? I've been diagnosed with Endo too and have been TTC for 1.5 years.
