Ovarian cyst while concieving
Hi all,
Me and my partner have Ben trying to concieve for a while now, but I found out last month I have a cyst on m left ovary (I was diagnosed with poly cystic ovarian syndrome in 2005, thought they were under control)
This particular one has been causing me excruciating pin every month around the time the egg breaks down. This month wedding the deed within the 24hrs before ovulation and gain within the 24hrs after, I'v been getting a lot of cramping and pressure, this month I haven't had the severe pain I normally get. Is that a good sign?
Is it all in Amy head?
Going crazy I think

I have endrometriosis. I do get a lot of cysts myself. The chances of me getting pregnant are not good. I have a 6 month window to get pregnant...basically my doctor said she has seen miracles. She wanted to send me to a fertility doctor and I decided if it's not going to happen it just is not meant to be and god has different plans.
I know that with poly cystic ovarian syndrome it is also difficult to get pregnant. If your serious about getting pregnant I would talk to a fertility doctor. They may have other options for you. There are people who get pregnant with Poly cystic ovarian syndrom just like with endrometriosis, but your chances are better with one, I would make an appointment just to talk about it.

Hi Jenn, Just a quick question: You said you've been getting a lot of cramping, Is it constant and what day past ovulation does it start with you and when does it end. I am currently trying to find out what has been causing all the horrible cramping I have been having the last couple of months. I did have a couple of cysts drained (ovarian) back in Dec of 2011 and I was relieved of the cramps for a month or so but it seems like these cramps have returned with a vengeance. I ALWAYS start having cramps/pressure exactly a day after I ovulate and they won't let up until next af arrives. These cramps last all day long without any let up. I did have a chemical before the surgery back then and I do remember cramping much the same so I know I can't rule a pregnancy out but they really make me think I am out when I cramp like this. Would love to hear how they affect you. I am starting to wonder if my cysts have come back now. Anyway, Thanks for listening and good luck.

My sister had PCOS, but it wasn't severe. She managed to get pregnant, and even though she tried, nothing happened for 7 years. Then she started having this really bad pain, she went to the doctor and they found a huge cyst in one of her ovaries (like three times the size of her ovary). I thought she might lose her ovary, and I was so worried when she told me that she needed surgery.
The day before the surgery through routine tests they found out she was pregnant and that she couldn't have the surgery.
This worried me too, but she said her doctor told her that the symptoms would go away during her pregnancy. He was right. She gave birth to a baby girl in February 2011. She didn't report any symptoms until June this year when she finally had to had surgery

Hi,
The pain I get comes and goes.
I have been to see a specialist and apparently I have only got 1 cyst and its the cause of my cramps, in 2005 I was diagnosed with pcos, but now there's 1 ??! I'm pleased but this 1 cyst is causing a lot of pain 5-4 Amy's before af.
Last month was a negative :( here's hoping for this month.
Good luck all xx
