Hey there I know exactly how you feel. I'm 33 and we're ttc our first and I have irregular periods and extremely long cycles too. It can be very frustrating!! I'm currently on CD76. My cycles are usually 40-50 days. I ended up going to to my doc to find out if there is anything he can do about my crazy periods, and he's referring me to an OB. Have you tried talking to your doctor and getting blood work done, you could possibly be pregnant.

Hi! Its nice to talk to someone in the same boat! Last night I was a wreck. I started my period yesterday. I was 13dpo. According to my period app, which ive had for over 6 months now to help me track my psycho cycles, I shouldnt have gotten my period for another 9 days. I was so sad, and was totally crying for ever. My husband was really sweet about it and said we should go to a fertility doctor and just get everything checked out with both of us to make sure everythings ok and maybe use fertility treatments if we need to. I just feel like a big idiot, I was totally investing every emotion I had into this time round. I was using the ovulation testing strips and I was sure we hit it on the nail! I wasted so much money buying pregnancy tests too and taking them this whole past week to see if I could see a faint line like all the other lucky women were seeing. I was seriously over-obsessing about it. I just have to be more patient with it all. How long have you guys been trying?? I love that expression too, BABY DUST!! Bay dust to you too!!

I'm sorry to hear that your period started sooner then you were expecting. I hate when that happens. I can totally relate to obsessing over wanting to have a baby, it can be so frustrating and very annoying, especially when it seems like everyone around us is having babies with no problem at all. I just found out recently that a young girl from school is pregnant and her and her bf weren't even trying. And my sisters best friend is having another baby, their daughter is not even a year yet. I was so jealous. but I know that our time will come, we just have to be patient.
And that's not a bad idea, going to a fertility specialist and getting checked out.
My bf is getting a semen analysis done this week, to make sure his boys are swimming. We've been not trying and not preventing for about a year and a half, and just about 2 months ago we decided to start trying, we're not getting any younger.

OMG!! I know exactly what you mean! Maybe its just cuz were trying to have one now, I notice pregnancy everywhere! My friend just got pregnant, and she wasnt even really trying. They were just like whatever, if it happens it happens, and boom, it happened. Im really excited for her tho. And all these celebrities getting pregnant are everywhere being interviewed! Then, I feel like I see it everywhere, like certain movies that are on tv. Just today I was looking thru the channels, and Knocked Up was on, so I put it on, and then one of the commercials was for EPT! Im like seriously? but its stuff like that constantly with so many little weird things. You know whats even worse now, Im sol over analyzing my period. It was kinda strange, I had it yesterday and there was some bright red blood, almost watery, and then there was really brown discharge. and then i used a tampon, because I thought the floodgates would open, but when I took it out later, there was'nt a lot on there. Then today, Im just using a liner because its just brown discharge still. So now im like thinking OMG, it might be implantation bleeding. But I seriously doubt it. But of course, cuz Im crazy, its all I'm thinking about and I go in the bathroom periodically to check my liner. Uugh. i need to seriously stop.

It sounds like it might be implantation bleeding, have you tested today? Maybe you should test tomorrow morning. I'm excited for you, I hope you get a BFP!!
I understand completely, I was watching New Years Eve Friday night, and of course there was pregnant women in the movie and everywhere I look there is pregnant women, like ugh!! But I try not to think about it too much, I know it will happen someday.
According to FF I might have O'd way later then I thought, so I might try testing this Friday if AF doesn't make her grand appearance. Today I'm 10 dpo. This past week I've been feeling pretty off, tired all the time and in bed by 7pm, I'm never in bed that early. And I've been feeling really bloated and full, its weird.

Hey, well, it is my period. It really presented itself in the middle of the night. So, we will have to try again this next time. Im going to buy the hcg strips online and use the opk test strips again. I really want to make this happen!! Oh, where do you go to get his sperm checked? do you have to go to a fertility specialist? We just got new insurance, and i need to find new doctors.

Sorry to hear that your period did showed up. Hopefully this coming cycle you get your BFP. Using OPK's is a great idea, that way you can easily pinpoint when you O.
My bf is going to his family doctor to get the semen analysis done. He goes this Thursday, I'm hoping things go great. You can probably go to any family doctor and get it done or an OB.
This afternoon I was having some mild menstrual cramps, maybe my period might finally show up. i haven't had a period since May..ugh!!

Holy cow, you havent had your period since may? Have you taken a test recently? Thats crazy. Now im all confused because now my last 2 cycles were 30, and then 32 days. so are they regulating again? I hate this up and down game. I used to take birth control when I was younger just to regulate them, but then i ended up getting a pulmonary embolism, and almost died! So no birth control for me, i just had to have really irregular periods. Im going to make an appointment with my old OBGYN and just get checked out and ask her about my husband getting checked. and guess what. I was on facebook,nad 2 more people I know are pregnant. yaaay.

I'm really getting annoyed with how long this cycle has been. I had a blood pregnancy test last Monday, but it was negative and haven't tested since. I might test this week. I'm really not looking forward to the disappointment of another BFN. As soon as my bf gets the SA done, I can make an appointment with an ob.
Have your cycles always been 30 days? If your under any sort of stress that can cause your cycles to be longer then usual.

Hey, so how things going? Did you get your period yet or have you taken another test? Im sorry youre so frustrated! When are your bfs test results coming back? anyway, my cycles are usually not only 30 days. that happens randomly. Honestly, my cycles are so nuts. these are my cycle days the last 6 times: 30, 49, 40, 51, 30, 33. So I dont know what the hell to make of that. sometimes they are in the 30s , other times not. so Its always a mix like that. it never regulates one way or the other. So I had a dream last night I got pregnant. Haha, I hope thats like a premonition for this next month! Im ending my period today, so soon Ill be tracking my ovulation and doing this whole damn thing again! Im going to take them 2x a day. Because ovulation is such a short window, I want to make sure I get it right this time!
