Something we can all relate to: WAITING FOR YOU

I sit here wondering
What the outcome is.
Do I have to wait two weeks,
In agony like this?

Paying attention to every movement,
Every cramp that doesn't seem normal.
All with the expectation,
Of the outcome being horrible.

As tears swell in my eyes,
From overactive emotions;
I realize my lack of faith,
Can drought my whole ocean.

How can this desire,
Take over my whole being?
When last time I checked,
My heart was still beating.

I realized I've failed,
To appreciate His blessings.
I want a baby so bad,
I've over here stressing.

Instead I'll spend my time waiting,
Desperately loving your father.
Sending sweet thank yous,
To Christ, Our Father.
