Increasing cervical mucus - suggestions please!

There is aschool of thought that even if you ovulate with a strong healthy egg, if you have no fertile cervical mucus, then there is little chance of conception as the mucus is the transportation of the spermies to the eggie

so,

what can be done to increase cervical mucus? I want to hear ALL suggestions, even down to the weirdest old wives tales!!

1) Evening primrose oil
2) lots of water
3) That cough medicine stuff

any more??!!
