13 dpo AF or spotting?

I've been TTC for 8 months now, and AF was due today. I'm 13 DPO and I thought AF had arrived, but the bleeding was dark brown and ended after a couple of hours, other than that I've had not a drop of blood since 8:30 this morning. Has anyone experienced this. When AF comes, the swelling in my breasts and bloating goes away, but I'm still sore and bloated. I've picked up a test, guess I'll have an answer in the morning!
