Wannabe May Mommies WMM

Hi ladies, I was in the Wannabe March Moms thread and I think there were 4 or so lucky ladies who got their BFP but alot more of us who got BFN. So here's hoping for August or September BFPs which will bring us May babies!

A little about me: I'm 35, from Australia, TTC first baby since mc in March. Just bought a fertility monitor so hoping it's worth the $ because I hate OPKs, haven't started charting yet but will consider it soon.

Join this thread if you WMM too!!!

Leah! You'll be our first AMM- actual May Mum! As far as Ive heard theres hardly such thing as a false positive.

And thank you so much for letting us know that you thought you were out because you're symptoms just weren't there. Thinking back though- did you have any? Sore bbs? Did you feel different to PMS? Just wondering...Also when is your due date?

Hello! Thank you girls :) I went out and bought a clear blue degital Hpt test and it showed up 2-3 weeks, wich means 2-3 weeks since conception so 4-5 weeks pregnant, by the looks of I'm actually further along than I thought by them dates my due date will be around April 25 so I won't actually be a May mummy now but if it's anything like my son it'll be very late and I will be a May mummy :)

As for symptoms I don't think I really took to close of attention cause I've had a nasty flu for a few weeks now :( the one thing that I noticed yesterday that really made me think and wonder was my bbs were getting sharp pains and the colour was a lot darker around my nipples, Ohh and gas!! Ohh my gosh I've had a lot of gas the last week, other than that nothing really.

Now the real hard part starts, the dreaded 12 week wait, I think that wait is deffinatly harder than the tww to test, knowing that all your hard work has finally paid off and the thought that something can still go wrong :( but hey fingers crossed :) Hopefully I will have some luck ladies soon to share my excitement with me :)

Hi All, to those who already have their BFP (WOW!), and good luck to those who are waiting!

Magenta and I were on a couple of other threads together, so I'm glad to be joining her again, and all of you ladies for the next couple of weeks.

Right now I'm on CD 13 - I usually ovulate on CD 16, so we're in the no holds barred BDing stage! LOL!! I've been temping (this is my third month), trying some supplements, and using OPKs, but nothing more. for all of us!!

Like many others on this thread, I had a MC at 7 weeks in mid-April. Hoping that we can conceive again, and this time have a sticky one!

~jen

Glad to be with another supportive group of ladies!

Can I join you ladies??

I remember seeing some of you ladies on theh WBMarchMomma's forum. Hi again!

Well this will be month 7 of trying. I am 6 or 7 DPO I think..not really sure though. I used opk's for the first time this month...I forgot to test a couple times and then gave up because I wasn't getting a positive..Also my hubby and I only BD once during my "fertile" week. So with all that I feel like there is a slim to none chance that I could be pregnant this cucle but wouldn't it be funny if I turned out to be...the momth we didn't track or try very hard.

I have not had very many symptoms going on besides my fatigue.. but that could just be because I've been nannying 4 kids instead of 2 this week. I feel like I could stay in bed allllll day. Oh and gas..lots of gas..

Other than that...I've had a few little things here and there but nothing noteworthy.

I am going to do a FRER test on Friday.

to all you ladies...hope to see lots of

Hello Ladies! I want to join the WMM club!!

DH (32) and I (30) have been ttc #1 since December 2011. My cycles are usually pretty regular, 28-29 days. But the last two months have been erratic. 35 days and 32. I could have sworn I was prego the first month I was late but never got a BFP. So with my hopes crushed once again, I didn't track anything last month.

This month DH and I have BD'd nearly every night since AF ended. I am on CD 19 and estimated 4 DPO. Noticing little "symptoms" like sore BBs (more than usual Pre AF), slight nausea on and off, pulling on alternating sides of my tummy, and slight gas. I am trying so hard not to read into these symptoms, but boy it would be nice to see 2 lines on that HPT! lol

to all of us!! Here's to our this time around!

Bad news BFN at 12dpo this morning :-( but the good news, one more chance to be a may mommy due to my cycle timing :-) Waiting for AF to arrive tomorrow. Maybe there's still a chance she doesn't? GL to everyone else testing soon, fx.

Thinking about trying OPK for this upcoming cycle. Any brands you prefer? Thanks and baby dust!

Hi all....I'm on another May Mom forum as well, but thought I would jump on this one too....I haven't posted anything since joining this website a few months ago, but this month just seemed different.

Anyways, I believe I am 1 dpo....I started taking prenatal vitamins on CD1 this cycle and I am giving praise to them for elongating my luteal phase. This time around it should be 12-ish days as opposed to 10 or 11.

I am going to be 29 next week and Hubs will be 34 in a few weeks. This would be our first child if it ever works out.

I have been tracking for a few months now with OPK tests only...seems to be working though. I have a decent handle on O symptoms and such.

We BD this time a few days before O and I don't think there will be another opportunity this month, so basically it's all on that one time.

The only thing I am NOT doing will be tracking my symptoms like a maniac and POAS early. The last couple of times I convinced myself I really was preggers and then when they were both BFN's....I cried...way. too. much.

So good luck everyone!
