Trying to Stave off Insanity

So I guess I've been here for almost and year and have more or less just used the calendar and tracking tools. Time to step out of my box so I stop feeling like I'm alone when I know I'm not.

I was crushed when AF showed up yesterday morning.
Then today we got word that our best friends who were TTC #2 have already achieved success after just a month or 2.

There is no comparison. All the bloodwork, HSG, DH's stuff has all come out perfect. Nothing is physically or hormonally an issue.

LEEPS many years ago may be a partial road block - so tomorrow I take my first Femera pill as we prepare for IUI hopefully soon.

My cycles in the last 10 months have ranged from 32 to 40 days. THe Idea of ovulating in the teen days versus the twenties seems surreal. I am hoping to make some new friends and to be able to share success and maybe learn some ways to keep my mind occupied. We are going to a wedding this coming weekend - we won't be able to be active much while away - which is a bit frustrating. But I will be hopeful.

We will achieve a BFP in 2012. I can do this without going crazy.

Thanks for letting me Babble

Welcome Bowbow - my hubby is still clueless. I stated I hoped I was kind of icky feel all weekend and he looked at me like I'd grown a 2nd head. It made me mad that day now it sort of makes me smile.

*hugs* Patience is the hardest thing and I think all of us here have said as much. Each time something new or different seems to be happening I'm going online to do a quick bit of research to see if it could be related or not. Every little thing seems like it must have some signifcance significance.

How pear shaped was last month? Are you doing the same things as last month? Guess looking for context. No matter what Fingers are crossed for you that gets axed for this month.

Thank you BeccaLynn35,

Last month my period was 1 week early and didn't last as long. This has never happened before!

I have decided that i am not going to test until my period is due again, which is Saturday. OR do i wait until the week after, like my periods used to be?? what do you think????

I am just getting anxious that it will never happen. i lost my mum when i was very young, and i feel like i have this reserve of love that i need to share.

From my online readings - if you are 11 dpo and you want to test on Saturday you should be in a good place to do it.

sorry about your mom. And I do understand about the reserve of love - as much as I love my hubby he's not great with the affection thing and I hope to have someone to share it with when the time is right. (Argh can't believe I'm being patient honestly)

Definitely when you do test let us know what the verdict is - we can be here to cheer you on or give comfort if needed. This is going to be the shortest cycle I've ever had... and because of it nothing feels or seems real to me right now.

and hopes for a

Welcome, bowbow and fluffmonkey! (that's an odd sentence, lol)

Just stopping by to say hello. I'm pretty sure I'm out for the cycle, but looking forward to this next one! Temperature dropped today and spotting has increased... Once AF arrives, I find that I'm usually fine...it's the not knowing that kills me. I think I'm one of those people that is used to being able to work hard and get what I want, which is why this ttc thing drives me insane. How much harder do I have to work!? Maybe it's all just a matter of time - and it's not our time yet...

BeccaLynn, that's where I do yoga too - between my sewing machine and the ironing board! I did yoga this morning after not doing it for a while. I'm going to try to make a habit of doing it every morning now - even if it's just for 15 minutes. Oh, and your afghan sounds beautiful! Gifts that are handmade are so much more meaningful - I'm sure your coworker is going to love it.

Welcome Bowbow and FluffMonkey! Hehe, had to copy your sentence NorthernBD...

Day one of my third cycle charting! The weird thing is that AF came today, just as expected (almost 28 days to the hour from last month!), but my temp didn't drop this morning. I was kind of wondering if she was gonna wait a day, but I guess not.

I'm visiting my family this weekend, so I have to go pack. But I wanted to pop in and say hello, and wish you all the best in your TWW's! BeccaLynn, it sounds like you are totally keeping busy! Keep it up!

Hello Everyone - I am back from my adventure at the Elziabeth Celtic Festival.

This past weekend was nuts. Both my DH and I had off on Friday - but rather than sleeping in we got a phone call at 7am from my MIL due to the Shooting in Arurora Movie theater. I think it is about 20 miles north of where we live and not a theater we normally go to - but out of state and in state family were in a panic because they knew my DH really wants to see the movie. Still does - but we're too old for Midnight premiers LOL. So we are safe - and so is everyone we know.. but that made for a crazy start to our "weekend".

Friday involved loading up my car and then driving a hour south to pick up mom and then drive 40mins back north to the Site for the Celtic Festival we were selling at. I was so busy most of the day I can't remember if there were any symptoms. Saturday I chalked my queasy tummy up to concerns of having a 2nd bad year at this show. Last year we didn't make booth rent. Saturday was the complete opposite this year.

Sunday morning I woke up and my stomach never did settle - and it is safe to say it wasn't nerves. I was very tired and out of it all day long.

Monday - Slept in till 11 - it was WONDERFUL - and had some very Wild and Vivid dreams. I was productive but so tired that I slept like a rock last night.

I am bloated, gassy, the bbs are tender/tingly, my tummy is twisitng around, I've a bit of a back ache and a few dull aches, cramp like twinges. this all seems positive I think. and to all you wonderful ladies - I hope we all achieve our dreams and Keep us posted!!

I've managed to stave off the urge to run out and buy HPT's so far... not sure how much longer I can though.

FYI - Funny from my dad when we had dinner after the show on Sunday "Now I don't mean to over step or embarass you, but if you and Steve are successful you won't be in Rancho Cuchamonga, CA next year." My dad did the math - I'd have a 1 month if all works out.... (Back story - trying to sell vest extenders at a cross country motor cycle ride that starts in Rancho around the 15th of May.) Oh my ... so hard not to obsess over think and test test test....

Thank you Northern and Bowbow

I keep telling myself to take a deep breath and be patient. I went to Wal-mart and said "If i find a HPT I'll buy it and test tomorrow morning." Well Walmart thwarted me. I don't shop there often and didn't have a ton of time to search. So next stop at a store I know I'll pick one up. I think I'd be safe testing Saturday - Sunday for sure.

Baby Dust to everyone - I'm almost afraid to hope, but typically don't feel nausea like this before AF.
