Kate - Too late?? Did you test or did the evil witch show up early?? Still hoping it's too early for you to test... I think I would try and wait out the blood test if I were in your position.

AFM - Busy day today! Gotta take the pup to the vet this morning, then going to they gym with my Mom this afternoon & coloring her hair, then we have a bbq to go to this evening and finally off to camp!!

AFM� AF came full force today! So I mustve O'd on Cd 13 instead of 16. And now my cycles are 26 instead of 27 days.

Question� does anyone know why its only 20% chance of conceiving per cycle for healthy couples? Where does that # come from? I would love to know!

I'm Jil. I'm 25. Df is 28. We've been trying since November. I got a bfp in January only to have a miscarriage hours later. Df has a low sperm count from cancer a few years ago. I saw my ob/gyn on Tuesday and she said I have to wait until next march before they do fertility testing. I wasn't surprised though.

I'm 4dpo with no symptoms. This time last bfp I already had implantation bleeding and heartburn. But every pregnancy is different.

I got my cast off on Tuesday so now I can type with both hands. I've also had two job interviews. The one I had yesterday I really want. But I have to devote to it fully. So I came to the conclusion that if Im not pregnant this cycle I'm going to take a break for a year. The job means a lot to me and df and I really have to get on our feet. So I'm going to stick around until AF arrives which should be June 18th. Then I'll visit periodically to check in with you girls. Because you all became good friends and I want to follow you all to you bfps and births.

Krunchie- could it be implantation bleeding? When do you go for your blood test?

Joy- enjoy camping.

Amber- sorry about AF. I don't know the answer to your question.

Hey Jill, I think that is a good plan. I'm struggling with the fact that my main focus is baby making and I need something else so u focusing on your job would be good and give u both time to get settled into your new house so there is more time to practice the baby making!!

It could be implantation but cramping is getting more. Guess I will know more tommorrow if the spotting increases but I'm not holding onto any hope. It's an early start format next cycle but not totally unusual. Might give my specialist more insight to why we haven't conceived in the last three years!

Oh and blood test is Tuesday or Wednesday . Was going Wednesday as that is the day dh comes back so we could find out together but might go Tuesday to get it confirmed as a no quicker so I can get onto my next cycle

armywife - I have no idea why it's only a 20% chance each cycle, it's not a brilliant number is it?? I know a lot of women who got pregnant accidentally on one nighters etc so does that mean they're more 'fertile'? lol who knows. My doctor also told me a lot of women DO actually concieve but the embryo fails to implant or stops developing very soon after implantation. He was complaining about the sensitivity of HPTs saying more and more women are coming on with 'chemical miscarriages' and if the HPTs didn't work so soon they'd have never even known they were pregnant. Gotta love my doc lol

snowwhite - I was thinking about taking a break but now I'm having the fertility tests it's a bit late :/ I'm going to see what the results are. I have been thinking about possibly having fertility treatment and I'm not sure how I feel about it, it all started with a dream I had lol. Good luck with your job hunting :) oh and yay for having your cast off

Krunchie - good luck with your blood test :) and the spotting! Last cycle I started spotting on 12dpo and AF arrived the next day which was weird as it made my cycle a week short :/ I think our bodies know we're having these tests done and want to mess around with us as much as possible! grr

AFM -

I have been having crazy dreams. I know people say they mean nothing but mine quite often do. e.g. on Sunday night I dreamt I had to walk my Grandads Dog because he couldn't - early Monday morning he fell in the garden and broke his leg in 2 places (he's ok, had an op and is up on crutches now) This obviosuly could be a total coincidence but there are others I've had over the years that make me wonder. ANYWAY lol I dreamt a couple of weeks ago that me and DH got a baby boy at midnight (no idea where he came from lol) and we had no milk, bottles or nappies and I remember feeling really un-prepared. Then I had a dream where I had my HSG test, a few weeks after I had to have another ultrasound and they found twin embryos - again in the dream I went into painc mode about having to buy 2 of everything and wondering how I was going to cope.
I am wondering if maybe the universe is trying to tell me now is NOT the time to have a baby? or maybe I'm so convinced it's not going to happen if it does I'll be in disbelief.... ok so I've rambeld on enough now haha, it's a miserable cold wet day here so I'll be spending it indoors.
