Important Info for Mobile Users:

• During the initial launch the one-to-one chat with friends will not be available for mobile users. (if things go well I'm hoping to upgrade and add it for mobile users as well ie: ipad, iphone, android etc.)

Internet Explorer 6 Users - One-to-one chat has been disable for IE6 users. It seems to crash the browser so I have removed the chat bar. (Update your browser to use these features)

Friends Online: (bottom right)

• The "Friends Online" list uses your current Friends list (which can be found in the right column under My Countdown). To add friends to your list, just visit their profile page and click the "Add as Friend" button.

Chat Availability and Status Message
Use the Settings menu to change your status message and chat availability.

• Available - your name will show as available in anyone's list that has you marked as a friend.
• Busy - your name will show as busy in anyone's list that has you marked as a friend.
• Invisible - Your name will be hidden from all online lists. You will not recieve any live messages.
• Offline - Your name will be hidden from all online lists. You will not recieve any live messages.

Note: Your availability will automatically be set to Away if you are idle for several minutes.

Status Message: This text will be displayed under your name in any chat message windows.

Others Online: (bottom left)
This is a listing of all members who are currently online and have their chat status set to available.
