Hello Countdown to Pregnancy! I thought I would post a little update, since I still get comments on my posts! First of all, thank you so much for reading and commenting! It’s been amazing to see that my story reached others and that what I wrote meant something to you! I can’t describe how it made me feel to hear that what I wrote helped inspire you! Since I still get well wishes, I thought it might be good to post and let you know that my story did indeed have a happy ending!
When I last posted, I was just 6 weeks pregnant! Wow that feels like 100 years ago! My pregnancy progressed pretty well, aside from a little scare at 14 weeks (some spotting, luckily it turned out to be nothing) and what the doctors thought was a fibroid in my uterus. Fibroids aren’t uncommon, but they are something the doctors watch out for during pregnancy. So I was watched pretty carefully, especially in the last few months, but luckily everything was fine. Around 20 weeks we found out we were having another boy!
On October 12, 2012 at 2:30 am my water broke! I labored through the day, but my little one had turned face up and we just couldn’t get him to cooperate, so at 5:05 pm he was born via C-section, weighing 8 lbs and 21 1/4 inches long.
So there you have it! I am a Mommy blessed twice! I beat infertility, but it’s still a subject I think about a lot and am very passionate about. In fact, I recently started working on a book about infertility. I will never forget my journey and the stories I wrote here are a big part of that. To anyone reading, new readers coming across my story and people returning who have commented along the way, thank you. Thank you for reading, thank you for your kind words. I really wish you all luck in your own TTC stories. If my husband and I do decide to expand our family again, I hope to be back here to tell the story! If you’d like to continue reading about my life as a Mommy of two, you can view my blog link on my profile. Take care and **baby dust** to you!
