Dream Strikes Again!
If you have been following my blog then you know what dream my title is referring to.
Well, as the title says, my dream was accurate once again. It was someone very close to me that got pregnant…. ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have known pretty much all week that it was me, but I didn’t get confirmation until just yesterday. I woke up Sunday Am and rather than wait for the period not to come, I tested – and got a BIG FAT “PREGNANT.” (I use the Clear Blue Digital, no guessing on pink lines for me.)
I am so thankful to God for giving me such a great Christmas present. A present only He could have given me. We will have this baby in August… according to Countdown to Pregnancy’s website my due date is August 18th, 2012. My hubby’s bday is August 15. He is hoping for a birthday baby.
As happy as I am… I am also very, very scared. I do not want to go through another miscarriage. I was nervous about everything with my first pregnancy – how am I ever going to make it through this one?! I am asking for prayers. Lots of them. On Sunday after church I went and told my pastor that I was pregnant. He prayed for me. I know I have a lot of family and friends praying as well… but I will take all the prayers I can get.
I realize that I got pregnant again very quickly… this is only my second cycle after having the miscarriage. My best friend is still trying to get pregnant. She is supposed to find out this week sometime if she is pregnant or not. She says that they didn’t give it much of a go this month though… They have been trying for almost 6 months now. I know many of you have had miscarriages and are still trying to get pregnant as well. I am happy for me, but I still feel for all of you.
It’s amazing how writing this blog has had an impact on my life. When I got a positive on my test, I wanted so badly to come right to my computer and let you all know! Unfortunately the power cord to my laptop was eaten (by my mastiff) and I had to wait til today when the hubby could fix the cord.
I plan on continuing to write and keep you all posted on how things progress. My first doctor’s appointment is January 17th, 2012.
I would say, “Wish me luck,” however I do not believe in luck. I believe in God and God’s grace. So please, pray for me, and pray for my baby!

My hubby and i finally got our BFP on Thanksgiving day after 9 months (and 1 miscarriage) so our due dates are only 17 days apart (august 1st for me) and my hubbys birthday is August 16th, just 1 day after your hubbys! How neat!
