Question

Tooth Pain??

HI! I am 4 dpo and all of the sudden I woke up to my teeth hurting! There is no medical reason for this as far as I know, have recently been to the dentist, and checked out fine...Has anyone else experienced tooth pain (not like a localized toothache, just ALL of your teeth a little sore) as a symptom early or not, of pregnancy??

I experience tooth pain quite often, but not for pregnancy. It's actually a side effect of seasonal allergies. Your sinuses sit right on top of of the nerve endings of your teeth. When your sinuses are swollen & inflamed, it causes pain across the top of your teeth. I get it when pollen levels are high in the spring and when there's a lot of dust in the air.

Also, if you're stressed, you may be grinding your teeth at night. Your partner may be able to tell you if you're doing it - it's a very distinctive sound.

Well, if you're like me you'll want every change in your body to be a pregnancy symptom :) So I'm going to say yes! And the reason is that sinusitis in pregnancy is common and is often one of my first signs. This ranges from a stuffy blocked nose to sore teeth (achy, bruised, sensitive feeling teeth is a classic sinus symptom). So there you go. Welcome to the wait!! Good luck and I hope it is your first weird pregnancy sign xo
