when you ovulate you have clear to slightly white discharge and it is very stretchy!! (sorry if tmi) if you put some on your fingers you will be able to stretch it (just like the white of an egg) about 1-4cm before it breaks its stretch. sometimes you have clear, watery kind of discharge but this is not fertile. hope this helps!! im speaking through experience because im a cervix checker :P

it could well be ovulationday!! i think you should bd anyway! stretchy ewcm means fertile and that makes babies!! :)

EWCM looks like clearish jelly that stretches sorri tmi but im trying to thin mine out atmo before i ovulate because my EWCM sorri tmi is like a glob of jelly it does stretch but its to thick for it to be this nice thin clear stretchy stuff that surpose to help sperm swim through to meet the eggy,, in my case im fertile and i do ovulate but im guessing my EWCM is hostile towards spermy ,, but a nice clear discharge you,ve got sounds like you ought to not take any chances and just DTD ;) i use opks to detect ovulation so ya know exactly the right timing best of luck hun and lots of *****baby dust*****

The CM is just an indicator that you are gearing up to ovulate or in the middle of ovuating. It does not tell you that you have ovulated. The only way to confirm you have ovulated is to BBT and see 3 consecutive temp rises after a slight fall in temps. you could be gearing up to ovulate and not ovualte for a few days or not at all. the information on your BBT will let you know you definatly O or not,
