Question

Ovulation pain...after ovulation?

I'm confused yet again.. :) Trying to pinpoint when I'm OV and I notice the OV (ovary area) pain after the OV calendar says I'm fertile? Is it supposed to happen after or during ovulation? Could I be OV late in my cycle? It's been regular 30 day since going off the pill in May...

Not exactly sure how he fertility calculators work but you are most fertile a few days before you ovulate. Sperm last longer than the ovum so you would need to be having sex a few days before you actually ovulate to be in with the best chance of conceiving.

The sperm can hang around for a few days waiting for the egg to arrive. The egg itself can only last 12-24 hours.

Hope this helps.
