Question

Letrozole 5mgs and 2000mg of Metformin. I have PCOS looking for stories!!!!

Hello everyone, I am currently on 200mg of Metforming (have been on it since May) and 5mgs of Letrozole (1st month). I am on cycle day 25 (usually have a 35 day cycle) and have yet to get a positive OPK, however I have the AVA bracelet (which I am no sure how it works as this is my 1st month using it as well), I am also checking cervical mucus. I have been having a pulling sensation since Monday in my pelvic area, my nipples are sore and I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are???? Any one successful with these 2 meds? Anyone have vitamins they can recommend or anything to add to my routine?

HI how is the TTC jpurney going? I too have PCOS and have taken metformin in the past. It never really worked for me honestly. All it did was make me sick. I switched to Myo-inositol 2000mg and D-chiro-Inositol 50 mg. It is basically a more natural version of metformin without all the nasty symptoms. It also works better for me. The first month that I took the Inositol combinations I ovulated on CD 15. My usual ovulation day is CD 18 to CD 21. So it also helped to make my cycles shorter. Another good PCOS med to try is NAC. It has been show to reduce testosterone in the body and improved pregnancies continuing past 20 weeks by 170%.
Hope this helps.
