Hypothyroid and pregnant..when should i see my Doc?
Hi, so m almost 5 weeks pregnant this week and m taking 50mcg levothyroxine every morning for my thyroid. Wanted to know should i visit my gyn/obs soon or can i wait for 1 week(6 week)?? can someone pls help me..Thanks

I have hashimoto's thyroiditis and I was told that once I get pregnant i should call your doctor to make sure your levels are good at 5 weeks, you don't want to have your levels go up and harm the baby in any way. I would give your obgyn a call to schedule a blood test to check your levels asap. Congrats on the pregnancy!
