When does pregnancy cramping typically occur?

Just trying to distinguish between pregnancy cramping and period cramping? I know they are hard to tell apart, but curious to hear what people experienced?

I guess you really need to know your cycle. I generally do not cramp until the day before AF arrives. I am 8 dpo and I am having cramping and a lot of gas. I assume the cramps are from being gassy so I am not looking into it to much. I am going to test this coming Saturday if I haven’t started yet. If your cramping and your close to your cycle start date is could be your period or late implantation cramps.
