Ovarian drilling
Should I go for ovarian drilling. I am PCOS and start metformin 850mg per day since January2016, but I had still no period, so every 4months, gynae will issue me norethisterone to induce period. August2016 onward I start to increase metformin dosage to 850mg 2 times a day. And October2016 I had period, january2017, february2017, june2017, although is not regular but at least have period. But since June I had no period again, so I had visit my gynae and he prescribe me norethisterone as usual. And he suggest me to move to next step ovarian drilling. I would like to listen from you guys. Should I? I worried premature ovarian failure. And doctor did not prescribe me clomid before at all. Am I should still try clomid before go for ovarian drilling? Doctor said clomid should not work for me. But I just not sure how true he said. Why is he so confirm clomid will not work. Anyone with ovarian drilling before please tell me your experience.

I have had it done. It is not as horrible as it sounds! Yes for a few days after you are sore. But with women who have PCOS like myself sometimes ovarian drilling can help basically jump start your hormones and uterus to start having cycles. Now i have a sister n law who had this done and got pregnant a month after getting it done bc it cleared her system. For me unfortunately it did not work and not even two months later all my cyst were back. But I definitely wanted to give it a shot as I did try clomid for 8 months prior and it failed for me although I would olivate I just never conceived. But I think it is always worth the shot if it means there is a better chance at getting pregnant.
