How long do I leave it between taking Ovulation tests??

It is my first cycle using ovulation tests and I'm a bit confused. I'm not sure how many hours I should leave it between taking them. Yesterday, I did 3 tests. One early PM, one late PM and FMU this morning. How many times should I take them a day? I want to try not to poas too much, as it becomes a little expensive and addictive lol
I would appreciate any help understanding ovulation tests. I know that to be a positive the test line needs to be as dark as or darker than the control line and that's it lol
