Period is late and idk what to think

My period is two days late and I’ve been having mild cramping for two weeks now but no sign of period. Taken pregnancy test day of missed period it was negative though. Cervix is low and dry and I feel like period is coming but it’s not and Im here just cramping like crazy. Can you have a low dry cervix with constant cramping and still be pregnant?
