Question

PREGNANCY TESTS AND FALSE POSITIVES

Aren't tests suppose to not make ANY mark at all if they don't pick up hcg levels in them? Clearblue, if you take it apart it has 2 strips inside...the 1 is the control and the other is the actual test line to say negative or positive. at 8dpo I used the test and saw the faintest line. I am just wondering if anyone can explain to me why would it be making a mark if there are no levels of hcg in the urine?

Hi, unfortunately clearblue tests are really bad for evaps and show up faint postives when your not even pregnant as do a lot of other blue dye tests haven’t a clue as to why this is but I’d avoid them and stick to pink dyes instead for more accurate results and 8dpo is still to early to test I’d wait until af is due GL x
