OPK question

OK so I've been using the Baby Mad brand of OPK tests and I have had a couple of days of lines getting darker, although not by much, and now it seems a bit lighter. Does this happen to anyone else? I'm on CD 14 and I thought I would have had a positive OPK by now.

Ive had a similar experience when I take one during the day I get a line its not positive but its dark and at night I hardly get anything. I thought maybe I missed the surge.
