Positive urinalysis negative equate test. So confused.
I went in to get checked for a bacterial infection and about died when the Dr came back in and say I had a positive pregnancy test. I got my tubes tied a year and a half ago but I read the kidney and uti are the only things that cause a false positive??
I took an equate brand test but have never had luck wikth those tests even when I was pregnant with my kids. Thoughts?

I've never heard of a kidney/uti thing causing a false positive. I've been admitted 5 times for kidney infections, never had a positive hpt. I'd for sure mare sure you get an ultrasound quickly to look for placement of the pregnancy, especially since having a tubal litigation. Best of luck to you
