No period for 2 months, tons of negative tests, 4 positives and now negative again?
I am thoroughly confused. The last period I had was 6/15/17. It was heavy, and lasted about a week. My cycles are irregular, but usually less than 30 days. No period in July. On 8/1/17 I thought my period began (2 weeks late?) but I only bled lightly for two days. I expected to get my normal period sometime around 8/15/17, but still no bleeding and no signs of AF. I took tons of HPTs that were negative, but about 5 days ago 4 in a row turned dark + around 15min. 12hrs later I was getting -'s again, and with a FRER tonight another negative. Having pregnancy symptoms I think. Could my HCG levels be too high for a HPT to pick them up? Should I dilute my urine? I am lost at this point.
Also, I was breastfeeding for 4/5mo-ish, stopped around early May. Thats why I thought my July period was delayed at first. But having missed it twice with the 2 days of bleeding earlier this month is thoroughly confusing me. What do you think?

Your levels would need to be 12+ weeks pregnant for the hook effect to affect a test and you'd have gotten positives before - so it's unlikely your hcg is too high for the tests. I did peek at your tests and they do look like evaps, especially showing up after the time limit. Your doctor can draw blood to double-check your levels.

Thank you for the helpful input Dmentia! I did have one question though, a few months back I took a test, (right before I stopped breastfeeding,) and a second line had appeared hours later. Bf and I noticed it in the trash. Bought another since we didn't know about evaps at the time,-- it was neg-- and we shrugged it off. Could I have been pregnant then? Guessing it is a dumb Q since I was breast-feeding, haha.
But why would I miss my period the past two months with those weird 2 days of light bleeding? :/
