Frozen Embryo Transfer questions
Hello! I am in the throes of the evil two week wait and seeking wisdom from others who have had a frozen embryo transfer.
First of all, did you POAS or wait for the beta? My doctor has patients wait 14 days after transfer for the beta! I thought I'd wait for the beta (which will be on Tuesday) but I broke down on Wednesday and took hpt. IT WAS POSITIVE!! This would have been 8 days after the transfer. We've struggled for 5 years- I almost couldn't believe it. Keep in mind this was a frozen cycle, so no trigger shot was used. My husband is waiting for the beta. He knows the results of the hpt, but doesn't want to get his hopes up.
Has anyone else completed a frozen cycle and tested at home before the beta? What were your results/experience?

Sorry, I have no wisdom to offer as I have never been down this road. If u post this as a journal entry, same title, u will most likely get a few replies there. There are a few ladies whom have been through this who could offer some help, but they don't come on the Q&A part...they do read and write journals tho. Just a suggestion.
Sounds good with the test..best of luck for a happy and healthy 9! =))

I've done 7 embryo transfers and have always poas before beta haha. My successful pregnancy was an FET and I got a positive on 5dpt. I had 3 other unsuccessful pregnancies (2 FET and 1 fresh). 2 of them I got negatives all the way up to beta and got a positive beta and on 1 I got a positive at 6dpt but lost it at 6 weeks. There are so many different ways it can go! Getting a strong bfp before beta is a great sign though. My advice is just to stay cautiously optimistic and hope for strong betas and a nice heartbeat at ultrasound.
