Hi, I myself have no experience with this but mum did and she tried for a long time to conceive to no avail until she was told she had quite a lot of fibroids and bleeding on in and outside the womb she had a operation to remove them and had her periods stopped for 6 months so stop regrowth, after that she had me and my brother with no problems. So depending on how bad they are yes it can cause problems with conceiving GL x

My little sister has some crazy fibroids that were just removed (she looked 6 months pregnant before, now she has a flat belly). Her doctor said that she has about seven years to have a baby now that they've been removed. After that period, her doctor believes they'll have grown back to such a degree that conceiving will be impossible and she'll need to have a hysterectomy. That sounds scary, but she looks at it this way - she's 28 now, she has until she's 35 to have kids. She was planning on stopping at 35 anyway because of the increased risks due to age (thanks sis, I'M 35!). So although it can complicate matters a great deal, it's not like you're never going to have kids. It just means that you have a few hurdles to jump before you get there. Good luck!
