Question

FRER progression?! Started to fade after days of darkening. Gutted after chemical last month. Hope?

Have been testing positive for 6 days, which was wonderful news after a horrid chemical pregnancy last month. Have become fairly anxious about this one since, not least as can't be sure re ovulation after a weird cycle last month. Have, however, been reassured to see lines gradually darkening until today. Fading (& eventually disappearing) lines were the start of last month's loss (though they never got as dark as they have been this time).
I know al the usual advice re how much you've drunk, FMU etc., but don't think it can be that. Did a couple of tests yesterday & both were notably stronger. All today's (4!) tests are lighter than that. In pic have just posted FMUs where I had held for at least 6 hrs.
I have posted a pic, but people just keep voting it positive (I know it's that) when I was hoping for some feedback on its progression & whether I should accept it's a loss or maintain drawn-out hope (which made it worse last month).
Guess pics are of 14-18 DPO but not

Poll:
Keep the faith, this could still be viable! (4 votes)
Sorry this one just won't stick :-( (0 votes)

I think the best thing to do is get a blood test and find out what your levels are... also take a digital. By 14dpo I think they like to see your levels around 80-100 as an average. Unfortunately if they are getting lighter it could be a bad sign it could also be that you have drank more than you should or that the tests dye isn't as dark. Until you get your levels checked it could be anything. If I were you I'd get a digital test

Digits test is still 'positive 1-2 weeks', as it has been for 5 days (possibly a worry in itself). I expect it will change but it's less sensitive to progression...

Hi, from what I can see I think you might still be ok. My chem pregnancies faded much more apparently (and quicker) so fingers crossed for you. I also used a digi to track the hcg levels (also in the UK). I hope they get darker soon or you go to '2-3 Pregnant' on a digi. You can actually order a private HCG test (prick test) online if you get desperate. x

Thanks so much Rose35. Still going nuts here. Line darker again today, and a bit darker than 2 days ago, but still not as dark as control line or showing the progression I would like. Been for private HCG test this am, but results take 3(!) working days. So will be a whole week till I can have 2 now to compare. Guess I may know more from test lines by then anyway. Despite better line today, digi still stick at 1-2 weeks.

3 days... That's torturous. Oh well just keep reminding yourself it's getting darker - and that's great. Best of luck to you xx

Afraid it's darker again this am. Think it's time to accept this is another one that won't make it. Just devastating. Thanks for all replies.

Some update: lines have got lighter some mornings & darker again others. Guess the overall trend is still darkening it you look at every other day? Had first Beta HCG back from We'd (19-20 DPO and 327). Won't get results from 48 hrs later till Mon pm.
In negative news, had spitting last night. Nothing to be done at this stage and too early to scan etc. Will try scan in a week.
So, still up in the air? Thanks so much for all thoughts- it helps during a tough week!
