LEEP Procedure affecting fertility?
Hi friends, My fiance and I have been TTC for 7 months now, and I know that is not a long time; however, I had a LEEP procedure done in November of 2016, and my OB said that it shouldn't affect my fertility. He did say that when we do conceive, he will have to monitor my cervix closely, as there is a chance of cervical dysfunction after the procedure. I'm about to be 34 ( I have a 5 year old son from a previous relationship), and my fiance is 39. We are getting married in December, sonwe are ready at any time now. He doesn't have any children of his own, and we really want one more. Have any of you experienced trouble after LEEP? My main concern is the variation in my cycles. After the LEEP, I had a 46 day cycle. Now, they are roughly 32-35 days, so pinpointing O is difficult. I get "high" readings on opks, but never peak. Help!!!!

I have had a LEEP and my doc's only concern is cervix length. They said if we get pregnant, they will monitor it closely. It may need to be sewn shut if its too short. The reason I cannot get pregnant has nothing to do with the LEEP, but with issued caused from my endometriosis. I would see a fertility specialist or your GYN and have them run cycle day 3 bloodwork. It will be able to tell you if you are having any issues.
