Ttc Ater getting the MTX shot for eptopic pregnancy

Hello well in August 2016 my bf and I decided ttc for our 3rd baby we got BFP in September 2016 sadly it ended up being an eptopic pregnancy and I was giving 1 MTX shot. I was told I can start trying again in 3 months so 3 months later December 2016 we started trying and here we are July 2017 with no luck ... Every month we keep getting BFN ???? I have regular cycles. I been using opk and nothing Why am I not getting pregnant? Is it because of the MTX shot ?? Any info would be greatly appreciated thank you
