Question

Help...Period or Implantation

I was due my period today (21.07.2017). Last night I had brown discharge and when I wiped spots of pink/red blood spotting.

I didn't think anything of this, just my period coming. But it stop and nothing. Then today again just when I wipe brown/red spotting/discharge.
period due but others say you can. I don't have a clue.....

Googled it says two different things. One implantation doesn't occur period is due. Two people saying it can....

You absolutely can have implantation bleeding when or even after your period is due. It just depends on how long your luteal phase (the time between ovulation and AF showing up) is. The average luteal phase is 14 days, but the average implantation takes place 9 dpo. So for most women, 14 days is too far out for any spotting to be implantation bleeding. That being said, my luteal phase is short - usually 10 or 11 days after I ovulate; but, again, implantation is most often on 9 dpo. So in my case, every time I've had implantation bleeding it happened either the day I was expecting my period, or a day after it was supposed to start. If you've been charting for a few months, see if you can figure out how long your luteal phase typically is. If it's short like mine then you've got a chance that it was implantation bleeding. Good luck!
