Implantation bleeding?
On 5DPO I had what felt like dull aches in my lower abdomen and lower back, very similar to what I'd start feeling coming up to AF. Then this morning on 6DPO I woke to find a brown mark in my knickers. Implantation? I thought it would be too early.. I also thought implantation bleeding should be pink not brown!! Any ideas anyone?

6 dpo is the earliest you can get implantation bleeding; 9 is the most common. Is it possible you ovulated earlier than you thought? Even a day or two makes it more likely to be implantation. As for it being brown, that makes sense as you were in bed sleeping. Any pink blood would just kind of "pool" in there (sorry for the visual) and start to turn brown; then when you sat or stood up, the brown would make its way out. Good luck!
