Question

Why do people call it a "chemical pregnancy"?

I don't understand why they don't call it a miscarriage. A "chemical pregnancy" is a REAL pregnancy that ended in an early miscarriage.

It is an early miscarriage, it's just a term they use for when it's before a certain number of weeks. I had a chemical a few months back, and it most certainly is still a loss. Especially when you've been trying for an extended period of time.
