Question

Evap on every HPT - is this normal??

Hi there!

I'm 7-8DPO and have taken 3 First Signal HPT. They look negative after 3min, but after I check them at around 1-2 hours they ALL had pink evap lines. Is this normal to get so many evap lines? Could it be a bfp? I'm doubtful that it is, but just wondering what everyone elses experience is with these.

If its negative in the specified window, Usually means negative. An evap line is exactly as it's name suggests.. a line left after the urine has evaporated. If its very pink (like similar to the control line) its a good sign but I would say after that amount of time the test would be completely invalid. Still early in your cycle, So Good Luck! :)

7-8 DPO is very early to test. It's not impossible to get results then, but it's very slim. Many don't see it until after about 10-14dpo. Your body needs time to build up the hcg even on the sensitive tests. As for the HPT lines - go by the window they tell you. 1-2 hours is going to be evap lines.
