Was anyone subjected for a half hour scan in early pregnancy? Did your baby come out ok?

I am 5.5 today and yesterday I went in for my first scan. The dr could see the gestational sac but nothing else and referred me to a radiology clinic saying they have better equipment and will get a "better picture".
Stupidly, I agreed without doing any research. At the radiology clinic I was scanned by a technician (not a doctor) who couldn't even find the gestational sac using a transvaginal ultrasound. She was going at it for atleast 25 minutes.When I asked her to stop since she can't find it she said she still had to get measurements. She then proceeded to do an external ultrasound for another 5-10 minutes.
When I got home after the procedure I noticed my main symptoms fatigue, breast pain, gas were all but gone and started freaking out. I started reading on ultrasounds (esp transvaginal) and found many anecdotal stories of women miscarrying within 24 hours of scan as well as studies about damage to babies (dyslexia, growth retardation, left handedness etc).Can anyo
