Question

Anyone else with slow to rise hcg & not doubling?

We are undergoing fertility treatment using Menopur, Ovidrel trigger, and Crinone & estradiol support. I'm about 19dpo with positive betas. However, my hcg so far has been extremely low and slow to rise. We faced this on our first cycle and ended in week 4 as a chemical pregnancy.

My betas this cycle:
6/12: 9.91
6/14: 13.89
6/16: 20.81

At this point, I'm not holding my breath for a viable pregnancy. I don't see how the numbers could possibly catch up at the rate I'm going. I'm trying to hang on to hope that they just start skyrocketing, but I don't think it's likely.

Has anyone else dealt with slow to rise hcg or low numbers like this? I can't even figure out why it's still increasing. I have another test Monday to see if there is any movement. If it decreases, it's likely another chemical. If it doesn't increase by at least 50%, they'll most likely do an ultrasound to see if it's ectopic or some complication. Talk about frustrating!

I'm going through low rising levels too. Unfortunately I don't know what is going to happen or is happening now.
5/30: 12.1
6/2: 17.9
6/6: 79.3
6/12: 200.1
6/14: 267.3
6/16: 369.7
I go back tomorrow for another draw. They are worried about an ectopic right now.
I'll keep you in my prayers; just know you're not alone!

Thank you. Mine is still creeping along. It went to 41 and now 68. My RE doesn't believe it's viable. She's having me stop the progesterone and estradiol support medications (part of fertility treatment) and see if the numbers start to drop. We're also worried about ectopic. I'll test again Monday and see if they've dropped. If they don't, they are likely going to do an early ultrasound to see what's up.
