Did I have a miscarriage? Or was it something else?
Over a year ago I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend while on the depo shot. a good 5 to 6 weeks later I had a horrible pain in my abdomen like cramps. I wasn't surprised because with the shot my period was on and off but I hadn't got it since April. I checked and I had to put a pad on because I was bleeding. I took some medicine to subside the pain and less than an hour later in the bathroom the pad was already filled. When I used the bathroom something came out, bigger than the size of a clot I was used to. An hour later I stopped bleeding and didn't bleed again. Did I have a miscarriage? Was it just a clot? I would really like an opinion on what could have happened..

I doubt it was a miscarriage. I've had my body do some funky stuff while taking depo, not my preferred choice of BC. Did you take a pregnancy test? It would have come up positive even if you were having a miscarriage. My own personal experience with miscarriage in early pregnancy is there is A LOT of blood for weeks and A LOT of clots with pain that feels like your whole body is splitting in half.
