at 4-5dpo any symptoms are unlikely to be related to a possible pregnancy. if fertilisation had occurred, it's stillborn early for implantation to have occurred.

Actually you can implant 4-5 days after ovulation if the egg was met by sperm quickly. So you could be experiencing implantion. But on the other hand it could just be that you ovulated a day later than you thought. Are you temping or using opk?

I wanted to add I'm 5dpo now too :)) I had these cramps when I was pregnant with both of my boys. I'm experiencing them again. I'm hoping it's a BFP in our future! I found out at 8dpo and 9dpo with them and my doctor told me I just implanted a little early. Keep us updated :)
