Period day today, negative test yesterday after 2 hour hold. Cramping. Not normal

Hi. I'm on a 25-26 day cycle, 26 days today. Been having period cramps for 6 days, although today have been on and off ( maybe in my head) been TTC for 2 yrs! Anyway I usually get cramps 2-3 days before period with brown spotting, but this month I haven't seen any spotting although wearing pads for 3 days coz period feels like she is bout to start. I did do a hpc yesterday ( on a 2 hour hold) but it was totally negative. Still getting period pains and checking regularly and nothing. What's going on? Pls help me! Xx
