Question

Anyone with low AMH conceive naturally?

I'm 35, generally healthy and due to work (I am currently finishing my surgical residency) was considering putting off waiting to try to have a baby until I had settled into a job. I heard about the lab test anti-mullerian hormone that can be seen as test to evaluate the quality of eggs a women has. I took the test planning if it was normal to wait. My lab value came back very low (.037). Planning to try naturally for about 6 months before seeing a specialist. But wanted to know if anyone had any advice or encouraging stories.

I'm 30 and my AMH is .5, coupled with endometriosis. I can offer no encouragement except to go to a specialist sooner rather than later. Even on fertility meds, I struggle to produce a mature egg. Best of luck to you.
