Can you get a positive and negative in the same day?

I am currently CD 42.... not sure when I ovulated. Took a dollar store test this morning with SMU. Definately was a faint positive. Went and grabbed a lifebrand blue dye test and tested this afternoon and its negative. Why would I get two separate results?

Your urine could be diluted or it could be an evap/false positive with the first test. I would try a first response 6 days sooner with first morning urine. If it was a true positive it should be obvious on the first response.

Doesn't an evap line show up after the time frame though??
