Question

My hcg levels are on 362 at start of 5 weeks ? What should i think?

Docter is saying that HCG level is low and i have to check in every 48 hours.
Really worried.
Docter is saying that there are chances of miscarriage.

It's not the level it's if they double 2-3 days mine were 87 at 6 weeks I had a miscarriage but they weren't worried until they dropped

Depending on where you check, your hCG levels at 5 weeks could be anything between 20 and 10,000 and be fine. Doubling can take between 2 and 4 days, but an increase of 60% in 48 hours is good. As long as your numbers keep going up, there shouldn't be any need to worry. I think a lot of Doctors have a habit of being negative as a way of preparing you for the worst, but all it does is cause unnecessary worry.
Where I live they don't check your hCG levels... personally I knew my levels were low at the beginning because I didn't get a +ve on a hpt until I was 6 weeks - our son is 17 months old this week :)
