Question

High hcg levels for 4 weeks

My lap report came back with hcg levels of 561 for 4 weeks exactly. In the report it said high. I'm confused. My dr hasn't said anything to me. He's so negligent, I will be changing Drs soon. That's another story though. Any one have any thoughts on what high may indicate? I've looked online and haven't seen to much.

Well, I was just on babycenter reading some hcg counts, and assuming you are actually 4 weeks for sure and not possibly off with your dates, I think having numbers around 500 that early usually indicate the possibility of twins. But, the only way to know that would be to get a couple more beta draws and see if the numbers triple astronomical every 2 days, and then following it up with an ultrasound d around 6-8 weeks. Also, it could just be one normal, healthy baby that just had high numbers. I'm any case, congratulations and update here if you find out one way or the other!
