Question

LH strips after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage last week and am just stopping bleeding, I wanted to check to see when I might ovulate so I decided once I stopped bleeding I would test for LH (with a strip) so I did this morning. I got a strong positive! I realize I could still have BHCG in my system but isn't LH only released shortly before ovulation? I am unsure if this strong positive is somehow influenced by my miscarriage status, or if I am good to try since I ovulated. My miscarriage was only at less than 7 weeks so I feel ok to try again, but should I wait? I am 41 and time is a factor.

U would need to try a hpt first, to make sure the hCG is out of ur system, then u'll know if ur positive opk is a true LH surge or picking up the hCG from ur mc. Make sure to bd, in case this is a true surge. No need to waste a perfectly good egg!
Good luck! =))
