When can I depend on a test to be accurate?
I am about 8/9 dpo, I had sharp cramping pains on days 6 & 7 and yesterday I started noticing my breasts were feeling extra heavy. Today the feel straight up huge and sore, mostly on the outside and into my arm pits. I am expecting af on Saturday so still 5 days out. I typically start to break out the week before af and haven't seen a spot so far, my skin actually looks better than usual. I'm starting to think the signs are looking good but I don't want to get my hopes up yet, I took a test yesterday and it was bfn.... I could trick myself into thinking there was a line but realistically it was probably way too soon. When is the soonest I can trust the test? What do y'all think? Are these symptoms promising? I've NEVER had sore boobies before!

I would wait closer to the time your AF is supposed to start. I had pretty much the same symptoms as you and I got my AF one day early. This website also does "pregnancy test timing" calculators; just punch in your last AF cycle date or if you know when you ovulate and it will give you the best day to test. Hope this helps.
