Question

Cramping/Backache

I had a miscarriage exactly 1 year ago at 6 weeks. I remember moderate cramping. I am now pregnant again after a year of trying. Approximately 4 weeks. I am having mild cramps and backaches. Mostly with activity. I had a very tiny amount of brown spotting when wiping. I had a beta drawn Friday and will have one drawn monday. Could the cramping and backache be normal?

Yes it's normal to cramp in the first couple weeks. Everything is stretching. And moving and just getting into place. I wouldn't worry about brown spotting. Normally brown means old blood. Keep an eye on cramps, if you start to have red blood and a lot of it. Call your doc asap!!!

Thank you! I think I'm just scared due to last time.
