I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It sucks, I know. The time between a miscarraigie and next pregnancy depends on a lot of factors. Mostly it depends on how far along you were when you had the miscarriage. It took me about four months from mine before I conceived again. I was about 8 weeks along before the baby died. The best way to tell if your body is ready is to watch your periods. If they're really irregular, then your body probably isn't ready to conceive again. If they start back to their normal pattern, then you're probably good to go. I'd also recommend getting an OPK and charting your temperature. The first couple of months, my temperature would rise, but usually long after the OPK said I'd ovulated (the latest was 5 days after). So my body was still confused by the pregnancy hormones and wasn't really doing what it was supposed to. The first month the OPK and BBT were on the same page was the month I got pregnant again. I hope all this helped. Good luck!

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks last summer and it took me 6 weeks for my cycle to start again. Some women take longer. After that it took me 7 months to conceive again. Good luck to you!

I miscarried at 12 weeks, but the baby stopped developing at 8 weeks, but was told I had a silent miscarriage, which soon enough it came. The midwife advised me to have at least two full periods after to let my body heal. We have been TTC conceive again; and I have tracked my cycle for the past two months and I am now showing the very early signs of pregnancy again, so I think it is when your body is ready and yourself. I wanted to try straight away again so I know how you feel. Good luck to you both, just listen to your body x

I miscarried the end of March and just going out I'm pregnant again. The hcg levels took awhile to drop to zero about 4-5 weeks. I miscarried at 9w3d but baby stopped growing at 7weeks. However my hcg levels were really high leading up to the miscarriage. Once my levels dropped to zero (was doing weekly blood tests and I'd had an induced miscarriage) myperiod started, it lasted longer and was heavier. My doctor told us to wait one cycle. My husband had to leave for work for 6 weeks for work a few days after it happened so we couldn't try anyways. By May my cycle was back on track and he came home right when I was ovulating and I just found out we are expecting. So it took about 3 months for everything to go back to normal, which I know seems like a life time after a miscarriage, but I got pregnant our first month trying after. Good luck and sorry for your loss!
