The egg would be gone by then. You want to have sex the days before ovulation and the day of if you're trying to conceive.

However - if you're not temping and just using an app to track ovulation that isn't accurate. That's just an average date given. Many women ovulate a few days before or after the average date. So if your ovulation date is just a guess then I'd say there's a chance.

the egg survives 24 hours max, and the sperm needs at least 8 hours to travel up the tubes, so you really should bd before you ovulate.
sperm are stronger, they live for 3-4 days, sometimes even 5.

An egg lives for about 12-24 hours after you ovulate, and sperm can live for five to seven days. Ideally, you need a lot of sperm on stand-by to 'pounce' on that egg when it's released, so have sex in the days leading up to when you ovulate and a day after

With fertility cycles, we trigger ovulation with meds and it occurs within 24-36 hours after trigger. We do timed intercourse the night of trigger and two to three days straight after. If you know when you normally ovulate, start trying the night before, during & a day or two after.
