HELP! Day 21 progesterone only 7.7
Probably because I work in the REI field I know too much and I am my own worst patient. I have been trying to conceive the last 4 months with my husband. We took letrozole days 3-7, with a trigger on day 17 with 20mm follicle. We checked a Day 21 progesterone that came back at 7.7. Needless to say, i was devastated I know that if pregnancy has occurred that this P4 is too low. so now I wait as my period will start. I know that it should be at least over 12 or higher when pregnant. Has anyone had a positive ongoing pregnancy with a P4 in this range? I've lost hope :(

I would have it rechecked. U triggered on cd17, so depending on what time u triggered, O was cd18 or early 19. U then tested ur levels 2-3 days later...that test is better done around 7dpo. U caught numbers on the way up, not at a peak or even potential pregnancy. I'd have them retested, u may end up pleasantly surprised!
Good luck! =))

Thank you so much for your positivity!
I should have been more specific. I triggered Saturday 4/15 and should have ovulated by 17th. So i did test my P4 7 days later the 24th (yesterday)
But I am trying to remain hopeful. Just the thought of having to go through another month of heartache is so hard to keep going.
Again ty! Period is due 4/30 so its just days away....

Ah ok... :/
Tbh, 7.7 is def too low to sustain a pregnancy, but u could get supplementation and go on to carry without issue. Many women have to take that route, it's messy, but without a doubt worth it. If this cycle doest work out (don't count urself out yet), ask ur Dr for a supplement and start it right after O. At least then u'll have it there in case. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have.
Have u seen him/her since u got ur results back? I'm surprised they didn't suggest/offer u any...assuming u did see him/her.
As for the heartache, try to look forward only! Don't think about what didn't happen, think about what ur gonna do next cycle. Looking at BFN's doesn't get any easier as the months roll by, u can't let them drag u down. Focus on the future and don't look back. U can't change the past, so don't let it change u. I know it doesn't seem like it, but it will happen!
Chin up! =))
